Alok - Any WSIWYG editor will allow you to easily set up a website. Or you can use a template from somewhere. It’s really not that hard, and if you share your designs, etc. with professionals it will look much more professional and impressive if you have your own site rather than a googlepages site. You make a good point, but I don’t think it’s he most professional route to take.

Well, You ppl seem geekish to me, but lemme tell u something. Googlepages is not a complete waste of time. There are people, who are being benefitted by this ( of course, not in a financial way). For example, I am an Architecture student of Indian Institute of Technology, and in the course of getting my degree, i have to work on many building designs, imaginary Problem statements and photoshop designs, posters and presentations. And Hell, i don’t know html, xml or php (and i don’t care to know them, for i don’t hv time for those….) Now what do i do if i wanna share my designs to my friends and my ppl ?? Starting a googlepage seemed working for me, and it really is. And as for the feeds and chat forums, u can always incorporate chat boxes and other gadgets in the html script of googlepages………

A fish swimming in the opposite direction of the current ?? Well, u may compare me wid tht, but tht comparision seems nothing but fishy to me……….

yea, you are spot on !
googlepages are a waste of time, no html,xml or xspf is working
properly, non of it ! trust me, i try it all ! It is a blog
with a big wheel, you can’t drive it, you can’t see it and you
where is it going to ?
The idea is great but there are to many problems with it,
there is a list of defaults is long and i agree - it’s doomed !
