Stealth Blogging

In case you haven’t noticed, I’m not really using this blog again. There are really two reasons 1) this is too public, and I don’t really want a public forum right now - though I may again in the future. 2) Moblogging doesn’t seem to work well, if at all with wordpress. So, I now have a more private blog that allows me to moblog and not share everything with the world… but I will be posting here occassionally, when I feel the content is audience appropriate… in fact I might just post a few things now…

i have a question about blogging in general. what is the point? i understand this niche blogging can be interesting to people who care but what about people that just write one-liners about some random article on msn.com. i never even knew they were there but i noticed one today and about 20 people decided to take 10 minutes of their day to right sentences completely lacking of content about tiger woods’ baby or about each other’s worthless statement. are there not better things to do with our time in this world? i really don’t understand…

Well, blogging is a way to spread the number of opinions presented. Instead of having a small handful of opinions you have thousands. It’s also a great way to learn from people that are engaged in a certain sector - for example, some of the most influential people on the web or in marketing also blog providing valuable insight that you could not otherwise receive. Blogging is also a great way for people that want to be known in a field to achieve recognition that might otherwise not receive. There are many many reasons for blogging, it’s not just a few sentences that someone says about Tiger Woods baby. Perhaps, rather than jumping to a snap judgment based on one thing you read one time, you should have an open mind when faced with something you don’t understand.

Well, since yesterday was the first time I have ever read a blog I would say I know nothing about the subject. That’s why I came to an expert. I do understand why it can be useful. I still remain to be continually amazed by the stupidity of people that use blogging for the things other than what you have stated above. Sorry to fill up your blog with the same stupid comments I am referring to. I guess I should have just emailed you.
